ALPHAMED JOINS THE LAUNCHING OF CARE TO SHARE PHARMACY

As part of the CSR, Alphamed partnered with JCI Manila, Gawad Kalinga and the Department of Health (DOH) in launching the Care to Share Pharmacy at the Smokey Mountain in Tondo Manila, today, April 18. APC aims to help the indigents of the area to have access to high quality, very affordable medicine by supplying the BnB accredited Care to Share Pharmacy. We would like to congratulate everyone for its successful launch!

ALPHAMED'S FORMAL PIR REVIEW - ACCESS

APC Recently had a very successful Formal Project Implementation Review held at the LAS CASAS DE ACUZAR in Bagac, Bataan. The meeting was attended by the top officials of USAID's health projects and the COP of Chemonics Philippines' staff and APC ACCESS projects manager with the Health Source Alliance. APC wishes to thank USAID/PRISM2 for the support that enabled the ACCESS project to become a true success.

The Strat Planning meeting was held last August 10-11 at the Fontana Leisure Hotel & Resort. This was attended by all Senior Managers, Office Staff and the Employees Council. The Meeting was able to generate short, medium and long term plans on how APC could be more responsive to its' customers.

Happy 8th Anniversary APC!

APC celebrated its 8th year in the pharmaceutical industry with an Infinity meeting/party held at the Fontana Leisure resort and continued on to party at the Republika Bar band restaurant in Angeles City. Alphamed has signed an agreement with USAID/Chemonics Intl and PRISM2 last May 19 to run the A.C.C.E.S.S Project ( Access to Contraceptives and Commodities thru Enhanced and Sustainable Systems). This is the 2nd project done by APC with PRISM2, after the very successful PRISM1 project.

KICK OFF 2011! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The theme for the 2011 Kickoff / Level up 3 event was: 1+1 equals 11 in 2011! This represents how ALPHAMEDANS are willing to go beyond what is expected of them to create spectacular results this coming year! ALPHAMED also had its Christmas party during the event. Annual Convention and 64th Anniversary Celebration "Obstetric and Gynecologic Practices in the Philippines : Where are we going?" last November 9-12, 2010 at the Philippine International Convention Center Sofitel Philippine Plaza. This again was a great opportunity for us at ALPHAMED to showcase our FP and MCH products namely Norifam "The Only Once A Month CIC in the Philippines". Other inception workshops attended by Alphamed – Pangasinan, Quezon City, Tagaytay, Cebu, Leyte, Davao, Paranaque. Successful Participation at 8th Biennial Convention of the Philippine Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

Alphamed participated successfully at the 8th Biennial Convention of the Philippine Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (PSPGHAN) last March 15 and 16, 2010 at the Cebu Waterfront. ALPHAMED PHARMA CORPORATION AT 63rd POGS CONVENTION.

ALPHAMED attended the 63rd Annual Convention of Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (Foundation) last November 8-11, 2009 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Sofitel Philippine Plaza. During this event, ALPHAMED was able to detail their top MCH products to over two thousand OB GYN MDs. Notably NORIFAM (the first and only one month Combined Injectable Contraceptive in the Philippine Market) , FAMILA 28F (Combined Oral Contraceptive Pills), PRO-GUT (Probiotics for Vaginosis), Orofer (Elemental Iron III supplement), Morin (Malunggay Extract for Lactating Mothers).
